Marietta Leis

Cyanotype prints by Marietta Leis are included in "Works on Paper", a group exhibition at the Abercromie Gallery, McNeese State University, LA, March 29-May 4. The cyanotypes are inspired by the 19th century botanist, Anna Atkins, who published the first illustrated book of botany with early cyanotype (sunprints) photography. Marietta made cyanotypes of the bountiful flowers on Flores Island, Portugal (Azores).
