René Mogensen

A new recording of music by Renë Mogensen: The New Arpeggione - Walls of Nicosia (Contreclisse) with Nicolas Deletaille on arpeggione and Alain Roudier on piano. "Walls of Nicosia" for arpeggione and computer and "Salamis Dance" for arpeggione are inspired by the beauty and rich history if Cyprus, and "Sonata Neo-Schubert" places Schubert's lyricism, harmonic language and formal design in the context of current music.
